Yesterday we wanted to have brunch at a place we have never been before.
Inspired by Awesome Amsterdam`s list with great places for breakfast and brunch in Amsterdam, we chose Bakers & Roasters.
Located in De Pijp, a very vibrant and multicultural neighbourhood, Bakers & Roasters seems to be a favourite in the area. We could tell this the moment we saw the queue in front of it as we were getting closer. It was actually the first time when I had to queue for more than 20 minutes in order to get a free table, which immediately reminded me of the experience I had at Holy Belly, in Paris. The other people waiting in the line were mainly English speaking and this contributed to the comparison.
However, once at the table, everything went smooth and the food was indeed very good. I especially liked the coffee (Flat White).
