House of Music

This is quite a special post on Amsterdamming. First of all, it`s part of that category I love most: “Amsterdam Homes”. Secondly, this house is located close to one of my favourite areas in Amsterdam: the Entrepotdok. As for the remaining of reasons, I`ll let you discover them as you continue reading and looking at the photos.

When it comes to spaces for living, I find nothing more delightful than to be in a house full of content (rather than just furniture and decorations): music CDs, books, photographs and people with stories to tell and passions to fuel. Aren`t all these what actually make a house home?

The right song at the right time and a succession of gin cocktails whose different names I can no longer remember made the whole experience quite memorable. And, although this was meant to keep us safe from the noisy streets of the city where people were celebrating King`s Day, I now realise we also celebrated a King in this home on Saturday night. His name was Music.:)
