Returning from Vama Veche, we came up with the idea to make a short trip through Dobrogea – most probably my favourite region in Romania.
Because the Danube Delta was quite far to reach and too beautiful to see in just one day (we had to return to Bucharest in the evening), we decided to go to Gura Portitei instead.
So we drove through Dobrogea until we reached Jurilovca and from there, at 2 PM, we took a boat to our final destination.
We had good food for lunch and we enjoyed a nice afternoon on the beach, waiting for the 8 PM boat to take us back to Jurilovca.
Driving back to Bucharest on the roads of Dobrogea reminded me of how beautiful and magic this part of the country is. I wish the driving never ended.
