Going to the Westerpark area of Amsterdam is like going back in time, to my first days in this city, my first Dutch classes and my first friends. I still remember walking these streets at 8 am heading to “school” with De Opmaat – the big exercise book. 🙂
However, in the West of Amsterdam is located another place that I am totally in love with: Haarlemmerdijk, a very long street full of genuine Dutch shops, lots of restaurants and places to hang out. It is also the street where The Movies, the oldest cinema in the city is located – one of my favourites.
And, like all the other walks down Haarlemmerdijk, this one ended at the Coffee Company as well, with a cup of cappuccino in front of me.
amsterdam, Bagels & Beans, bicycles, coffee, coffee company, golden daffodil, haarlemmerdijk, haarlemmerplein, spring, sun, the movies, west
