Today has been one of those days when all I wanted to do was stay home. A book I brought with me from my latest trip to Romania, a cup of tea, some photo editing – those were all the “plans” I had.
I am already anticipating the calm and the joy of Winter holidays, which we`ll be once again spending in England, at my boyfriend`s family, in one of the cosiest homes I`ve ever seen. But I am not in the Christmas mood just yet. 🙂
I am thinking of all those things that have been on my to-do list since maybe last year and to which I still haven`t found the necessary time to dedicate.
I have never been an artist, but the need to create (be it photos, photo books, texts that will probably never leave my laptop) is really strong and, at the same time, very troublesome. Feeling inspired is amazing, but realizing you don`t actually have time to put those ideas into practice… well, that is quite depressing.
There is always something to do for which something else remains undone. This is how I would summarize the last couple of years.
I am dreaming of time. Time to wake up to days that know no rush, when “pe indelete” (as we, Romanians, say) is the only rhythm to follow. The English translation, “leisurely” doesn’t do justice to this old expression. I wouldn`t say “leisurely“, but rather “naturally“.
These are some of the most recurrent thoughts I have and Sundays are perfect to put things into perspective.

Beautiful photos and inspiring text. I recognise myself a lot in what you are writing. I wish I could do something with my photos. work on them full time. I hope you will achieve what you want. Keep up the beautiful work, you are very talented!!!
Thank you so much for this! Happy to hear you understand. 😊 Maybe I need to invest even more time in this before it finally happens!

I know what you mean. Today I stayed in bed until 17 and it was pure bliss. Nina Simone, Beo (the cat) and Broadchurch (series) kept me company. 😉
That\’s the spirit! 😊 I haven\’t watched a series in years, by fear it will become addictive and leave me with even less time for photos or writing. But i do miss watching a good series and the confort it brings.
hihi! I´m addicted and I don´t mind. I´m more worried about how I´ll have time to go out, especially since I don´t enjoy it that much..
Hey! I\’m dreaming of time too! Hopefully we\’ll get some to enjoy this holiday season!
Have a good day!
