Amsterdammers surely love a good Sunday market at the park and it`s easy to understand why.
Sunday markets at the park are the perfect occasion to spend some quality time with family and friends, to enjoy tasty food and drinks from the many (local) providers, to purchase artisanal products straight from their creators and, if the weather allows, to even get a nice sun tan! 🙂
Pure Markt, an ambulant culinary market that everyone in Amsterdam knows about, is definitely my favourite, especially when it takes place at Frankendael Park. It was love at first sight!
There is nothing you cannot find here: Dutch Gouda cheese, Surinam roti, Indian curry, Spanish paella, American pie, Hungarian sparkling wine, Greek (vegetarian) gyros and the list can go on.
Apart from the great variety of food and other products, Frankendael park itself is a hidden treasure of Amsterdam, probably one of the most beautiful green areas in the city.
