Netherlands and Romania are my two homes and, because they are so different, I can never stop comparing one to the other.
On one hand, I can only be grateful for the fact that I can relate to both these realities and that I can enjoy them with the same intensity. On the other, I sometimes feel – as us Romanians say – like having my feet into two boats at the same time: a foot in one boat and the other foot, in the other. 🙂
Here are some differences that I spotted and I must admit that I had quite some fun doing this. For each set of situations, the first photo represents the Netherlands (mostly Amsterdam) and the second one, Romania (mostly Bucharest).

Lovely!
Diferentele se pot observa foarte bine, pozele fac cat 1000 de cuvinte! In unele aspecte arata mai bine Romania dar in altele (majoritatea) aleg Amsterdam fiindca totul arata mai ordonat, mai modern!
Sunt perfect de acord. 🙂 Modern si cool vs. conservator si elegant (pe alocuri).
Great comparisons! So many unexpected similarities. Regards Peet
N-am inteles nimic… ce trebuie sa intelegem de aici? 😀
Fiecare intelege ce vrea! 🙂
