Netherlands and Romania are my two homes and, because they are so different, I can never stop comparing one to the other.
On one hand, I can only be grateful for the fact that I can relate to both these realities and that I can enjoy them with the same intensity. On the other, I sometimes feel – as us Romanians say – like having my feet into two boats at the same time: a foot in one boat and the other foot, in the other. 🙂
Here are some differences that I spotted and I must admit that I had quite some fun doing this. For each set of situations, the first photo represents the Netherlands (mostly Amsterdam) and the second one, Romania (mostly Bucharest).
