Not sure I mentioned this on the blog before, but there was a time when I was living in Utrecht.
Utrecht was my first home in the Netherlands and I am reminded this whenever I happen to be there, for a simple change of trains in Utrecht Centraal or for a more “elaborate” walk along the Oudegracht.
There is something about this city that will always remind me of my start in the Netherlands, a time in my life which I like to call “my Dutch childhood”.
These photos are taken in the Summer of 2010, shortly before moving to Amsterdam. On that shelf it was pretty much all I have brought with me from Bucharest: my beloved books, painting stuff and some little boxes of very big value to me.
It`s funny when I think of the fact that even the building I was living in (where the photos are taken) has been demolished in the meantime. Or so was the plan.
