Berlin was sleepy at 10 PM when I arrived and sleeping at 4 AM when I left. In the meantime, it was rainy…
But even in these disadvantageous states of being, I still found this city extremely attractive, a place where I would definitely like to live.
It`s cosmopolite and yet a little troubled, it has a history, a soul and it speaks German. For me, it is complete, thus perfect.
I love the crazy mixture between the incredibly chic boulevards, with wide car lanes and sidewalks, guarded by lots of trees, and the wild industrial-like areas, with iron bridges and weeds popping out from everywhere – right in the middle of the city!
You take the S-bahn to go to the centre and the last thing you expect to see on the window is a forest! But then you see it, you say ok and the ride goes on. Berlin is indeed a very green city.
What attracts me most is the variety when it comes to both living and entertainment areas, architecture and people.
I can`t wait to go there again – it`s all I can say.
